I didn't always know that I wanted to be a Graphic Designer, but once I found my calling, I knew that it was something that I wanted to do as a profession. Now it's a part of me and I want to contribute to the design world by creating great work.

I’m highly competent in a wide range of styles when it comes to design but no matter what the style, who I am as a Designer/Artist is reflected in my work. I am all about simplicity, striking imagery and bold colors. I'm very fortunate to be able to pursue a career in an industry that I love and to be able to reach such a broad audience.

I've been fortunate to gain great experience through my education, but also through my real-world experience as the Design Editor for JMU's yearbook, The Bluestone, as an intern at King Screen, and most significantly as a freelance designer.

Having worked with over 20 clients and more than 50 projects, I have gained valuable experience developing client relationships and networking skills, while working on projects such as logos, animated logos, t-shirts, business cards, advertisements, posters, bottle labels, album covers, and a variety of other designs.

I've been an artist since I was young - creating for the sake of creating. I fell in love with graphic design when I realized I could implement my art skills to persuade and communicate with an audience. I love people, and I love being a creator. That's why I do this.

Enthusiastic with all things life has to offer, design gives me the chance to make others feel just as enthusiastic about life whether that is through a simple logo, making a booklet or taking some pictures for an important event.

I have found all aspects of design give me the chance to make someone's day through creativity, fun, compromise and innovation! People and art have always been my biggest inspirations but it wasn't until I went to college and discovered graphic design that I finally found what I was passionate about.

I’m an illustrator who’s diversified her experience by receiving a degree in both graphic design and certification in art education licensure. I create art to understand the world around me, and continue the long-standing tradition of visual expression. I draw to establish both a visual process and visual language for communicating with my students and clients.

I believe in the potential of children, working with nonprofit organizations, and companies who are inspired to better the world around them. People amaze me everyday, and I am moved to use my hands and my eyes to create on their behalf.

I am a designer, thinker, and communicator from Richmond, Virginia who specializes in creativity and personability. At a young age, I knew I found my passion when I would get in trouble in elementary school for flipping over class assignments and drawing on the back. Visual expression is what I was born to do.

During my pursuit of education, I have studied all aspects of design. Through internships and freelancing, I have learned how to successfully work with clients and translate their visions into products. I have joined numerous organizations inside and outside the world of design in order to expand my interpersonal skills, life skills, relationships, and memories.

Of the Washington metropolitan area, I grew up thinking I would never truly be happy until the day I designed footwear, I still do. My favorite word is empathize and innovation gets too much credit, do it best. I’m a professional hustler and insanely driven.

I’m passionate about people, wicked problems, and creative solutions. The power of listening is paramount. I would rather run a game of ball than watch it any day. I believe sleep is a waste of time. I have eclectic design interests with an eagerness to absorb. I take life easy but my pleasure very seriously.

With a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and a minor in Studio Art, my four years at JMU have provided me with a well rounded education that allows me to think outside of the box.

My love for design started as a teenager while looking at copies of Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. I loved the clean design, bold typography, and the overall simplicity and timelessness of each page. The elements I loved in those magazine pages are elements I try to express in my own work.

I grew up right outside of Albany, New York where I lived with my parents and sister until college. I have since become a beach girl and currently live with the sun, salt, and sand in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

My passions include design, typography, hand-lettering, and bringing aesthetic beauty and creativity to life. I'm all about love and family, so weddings and events where those two elements come together are my cup of tea (well, coffee).

I’m an artist and graphic designer who grew up in the abyss of rural Maryland. I’ve always loved creating, growing up I’d scrapbook with my mom and I was continually looking for different ways to layout and structure the pages. Fine art and illustration seemed to be my gateway into the creative field. I gave design a whirl early on in high school and I haven’t looked back since. It just felt right.

While in college, I interned as a designer in Poland and had the chance to participate in a two-week screen printing design fellowship in Krakow. Through my experiences, I’ve gained a passion for being creative and just simply learning in order to grow as a designer.
